Uyisenga N’Manzi is a Rwandan non-profit NGO created in 2002 to respond to problems faced by orphans living in child-headed households affected by the genocide and/or HIV and AIDS.
Its mission is to help improve the lives of orphans living in child-headed households by providing psychosocial and economic support to help them integrate into working life in their communities.
But the aim is not to make the children dependent on the organisation. On the contrary, the aim is to make them more self reliant and independent.
