Education is a critical aspect of the work of Survivors Fund (SURF) and in recent years we have undertaken a series of talks, workshops and projects with UK-based schools.
With the support of an array of teachers, in particular Andy Lawrence of Hampton School and Sam Hunt of Sandhurst Comprehensive, we have developed a series of materials aligned with the UK Curriculum. These include an array or lesson plans and education packets based on the filmed and written testimonies of survivors supported by Survivors Fund (SURF). We also now have a new Educational Package to accompany the play Agathe.
We continue to develop our database of materials, so to receive updates on our education work then please do email enquiries(at)survivors-fund.org.uk with your contact details and areas of interest.
