Sam is Assistant Head Teacher at Sandhurst Comprehensive. In 2008, she received the Anne Frank Award for her work educating young people about the Holocaust. She is a volunteer educator for the Holocaust Educational Trust. She has been a trustee since 2008, and was elected as Chair at the 2013 AGM. She was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday 2020 Honours List for her work including that with Survivors Fund (SURF).
