We are proud to announce the publication of the SURF Annual Report 2010, which presents an overview of our work over the past year. For the first time in three years that we have printed in hard copy our Annual Report, which we do at the request of the SURF Rwanda Office – as the most effective means of sharing our work with our partners in-country.
As well, we will be distributing copies to all our regular donors, so if you do have a standing order set up with us, then please do expect a copy through the post. If not though, then please do considering signing up to become a regular donor to ensure that you receive your copy too!
As ever, we publish as well our Annual Report on our website. Over the coming months, we are redeveloping this website, and will be bringing to life aspects of the report through photography and film.
However, we hope that for now this written report serves to showcase our work over the past year, of which we are particularly proud. With your continuing support we have achieved much, despite the challenging climate. Our work ahead is to build on this strong foundation to deliver even greater support to genocide survivors in Rwanda.
The delay in publication is due to the length of time required to complete the audited report of the end-of-year accounts, which is required to be submitted to the Charities Commission and Companies House. We include within the Annual Report our Financial Statement of Activities, and our full audited accounts are now available to download from here.
We are grateful to Ngaire Ackerley and Liam Dempsey of lbdesign for laying out the report, and to Drew Sutton of niceimages for providing the images.
