Last week, Survivors Fund (SURF), the Groupe des Anciens Etudiants Rescapés du Génocide (GAERG) and the Association des Etudiants et élèves Rescapés du Génocide (AERG) signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the Innovation Fund. Since 2010 , AERG and SURF, supported by Inspire!Africa and several private donors, have trained young survivors on how to start their own business. This has been very successful, but many of them struggle to take the next step and develop their business due to lack of funding and skills. With support of $ 50,000 from one of SURF’s long-time supporters and  entrepreneur, youth survivors with businesses will be receiving support to grow their businesses.

Are you or do you know a young survivor entrepreneur who wants to grow her/his business? Or are you a successful entrepreneur who wants to mentor her/his new colleagues through this exciting growth period? Get in touch with us at: innovationfund2017@hotmail.com
